Carlson Glass is a reputable glass shop with good customer service and quality work. They stand by their work and care about their customers. They came to my house and gave me a free inspection. Within a few weeks my glass door was done and it was delivered. After calling other glass shops, I felt that they offered a fair price with a good delivery service. I called other shops that wanted very high delivery prices and contracted out their delivery work which affected the hours available for delivery.Brian M., Lisle, IL
This is a very nice art supplies store! The people who work here are very nice, and they have all types of art supplies. They also provide the school supplies packages that we buy from school for elementary and middle school levels. I really like wandering around this store with my friends.Yelper
They are always willing to work with you and your needs. I attend classes at the DuPage Art League just a block or so down the street, and love how they are always willing to offer you the best deal, combine coupons and discounts, and make sure to special order certain items for you! They are very honest too, and don't try to oversell you anything. Thanks Carlsons!Google User
I have been shopping at Carlson's Art Store for 34 years first at the Downers Grove Store and then Wheaton after moving to this area. They always have what I need or are more than willing to order it for me. Marty is the manager there and very knowledgeable about all the products in the store. He has been a huge help to me throughout my career as a artist. I always recommend Carlson's to anyone asking about art supplies. This is my favorite store I love Carlson's. I would be lost without them!!! DebDeb D.
These guys are the tops! This is a neighborhood hardware store like you may have walked into int the 50's (with regards to full inventory of products and personal service) but they are wired as well. Example...I went in to get my Toro lawnmower serviced. I was fully expecting it to be painfully slow AND get fleeced. Instead, Dave said, "Let's have a look." He had me set up and running in 5 minutes and had entered the job as no charge AND connected on line with Toro to apply it on my warranty. In this world of getting lost in the aisles at Home Depot, This experience was awesome!Tim K.
Yet again, excellent service. Allowed me to take an already assembled floor model of a drafting chair since I needed it right away, after offering me an unassembled model new in the box. No questions asked. Great service, friendly, and actually beat Amazon's price.Michael W.
Excellent store with a great inventory of essentials, and the occasional rare/cheap find (replacement blades for Kum pencil sharpeners, for instance... can't even buy those at Blick... I know from experience). The service is always friendly and knowledgeable... I picked up some Prismacolor colored pencils and the clerk rolled them on the counter to make sure they were straight (which sometimes ensures an unbroken lead) before ringing them up. Awesome.Yelper
My daughter wanted an easel and paints for Christmas. She is 10 yrs old so I wanted something better than the usual kids stuff. The owner spent so much time explaining the items and helping me get the best bang for my buck. He gave me some pointers to give her about taking care of the new brush set I was purchasing and sold me a much better easel than I was originally looking at...which was about $20 cheaper!! I am heading back there today to get the first piece of artwork framed!
Great litte store with lots of knowledge of the products and helpful staff!!
I walked into this Art Supply store wanting to purchase water color supplies - I've been doing a lot of reading on the subject and was please that the owner of this store took the time to talk with me about water color papers, brushes, etc in the use of water colors. It was great and I did buy brushes, paper supplies and will in the near future stop in again and buy more items - Nice store and stocked with quite alot of various art supplies.Joseph P.
This is hands down the best place in the area to get your custom framing done. These guys have years of experience helping you select the right frame. Their selection of frames and mattes is massiveAdam D.
