We have a wide variety of standard sized frames and we have a very talented staff with over 100 years of combined experience that can help you with your custom framing jobs. Carlson’s Framing Department can handle all types of jobs including fabrics, tapestries, mirrors, maps, shadow boxes, diplomas, jersey display cases, custom matting, and more. Come in anytime during store hours for a free consultation.¬†Carlsons can also create custom mats and we sell matting supplies and framing supplies for the do-it-yourselfers. Carlson Paint, Glass, and Art Stores Inc. is a fourth generation family business that was started in 1915. Over the years the Carlson family has branched out to include a wide array of businesses. Carlson Art and Framing located at 111 E. Front Street in Wheaton originally started as a paint and wallpaper store in 1915 and eventually expanded to include fine art supplies and custom framing. Our second art supply and framing store located at 209 South Main Street in Lombard was opened in the late sixties.
